NEARLY 20 NEW CGS CINEMAS HAS BEEN COMING TO BOOST THE RECOVERY OF CHINESE FILM INDUSTRY
Since the reboot of the domestic film industry in July 2020, it's steadily recovering as we see gradual increase of the box office. Over the past six months, CGS continued to promote new cinema projects and actively participated for the construction of new cinemas. CGS auditoriums in nearly 20 cinemas has been coming to meet with the audience.
The first shot after reboot
CGS auditoriums in Nanning and Haikou have successfully opened after industry reboot. From cinema wise, after intensive preparations, Guangxi Guangying International Cinema Starlight Cinema and Hainan Haikou China Film International Cinema in Nanya Plaza have opened in July and August 2020 successively.
New chapter, new partner
Joining forces to build high-end cinemas has been the goal of CGS to strive for. In 2020, CGS joined hands with the MixC Cinema and Suning Cinema for the first time, bringing premium cinemas to China Resources Hangzhou MixC Plaza and Chengdu Suning Cinema in August and September 2020.
Enhance current cooperation
As we are serving new partners, existing ties with renowned brands gets further enhanced. CGS has been cooperating with China Film International Cinemas. Zhuhai's largest CGS screen has arose in Zhuhai Youte Plaza China Film International Cinema, with five stories in height. Meanwhile, the CGS auditorium in Dandong Tianci Future City China Film International Cinema is on the “soon to be open”list.
Early in February 2018, Evergrande Cinema extended strategic cooperation agreement for another five years with CGS. The upcoming CGS auditoriums in Fuqing, Ezhou, Chuzhou, Nanyang, Zhengzhou, Panjin, Foshan, Liuzhou and Shenyang will soon be completed. In addition, cooperation of CGS and Broadway Cinema will continue and keep bringing better theatrical experience for moviegoers.
New picture, new cities
Moviegoers in Xinyang and Fuqing have been welcoming their first local CGS auditoriums. Screen of Xinyang auditorium is more than 24 meters in width, meaning vibrant picture and profound details. With the immersive multi-dimensional sound system, it brings true harmony between sound and picture.
As domestic movie industry is actively promoting the resumption. CGS will continue to boost the recovery of film industry, accelerate technology innovation and cinema construction, and continue to create the ultimate immersive movie experience for audience.
